| A |
Scratches or dents that are mostly out of view and slightly dirty, but does not require any major repairs. |
| B |
Small scratches, damage, burns, dents, and few repair marks, and additional repair work may be required. An A grade can be given if repair costs under 50,000 yen are performed. |
| C |
Visible scratches, damage, burns, dents, and a number of repair marks, and additional repair work or replacement may be required. A B grade can be given if repair costs under 50,000 yen are performed, while an A grade can be given if repair costs under 100,000 yen are performed. |
| D |
Large scratches, damage, burns, dents, and many repair marks, and additional repair work or replacement may be required. A C grade can be given if repair costs under 50,000 yen are performed, while a B grade can be given if repair costs under 100,000 yen are performed, and an A grade can be given if repair costs under 150,000 yen are performed. |
