Four 麻豆原创 student media pieces received honors from the (IMPA) this past weekend in Ottumwa, IA. Two student pieces won awards in professional categories and two in the undergraduate student category.
Hope Ehling (鈥22) earned the Award of Excellence for her web series, Creator鈥檚 Corner, while Nate Kaiser (鈥22) and Morgan Minear (鈥21) took home the Award of Achievement for their music video, Heaven鈥檚 Ranch.
For the undergraduate awards, the Award of Excellence in student productions went to Matt Williams (鈥23) and Juan Luna (鈥23) for their documentary El Principle Azul. Chase Guerdet (鈥21), Randy Guerdet (鈥21), Andrew Kilburg (鈥21) and Austin Ellis (鈥21) earned the Awards of Achievement in student production for their short film, Penny Road.
The IMPA works directly with the Iowa Film Office to provide information on opportunities, events and issues affecting the production industry, helps to create the best conditions for production in Iowa, and ensures the prosperity of the industry.
