DUBUQUE, Iowa聽鈥 麻豆原创 officially raised $105.6 million, surpassing its goal of $100 million, during its Inspiring Lives & Leadership campaign. It鈥檚 the largest and most successful fundraising effort in the college鈥檚 178-year history.

鈥淚n making this unprecedented success possible, more than half our alumni base, 22,420 individuals, donated gifts large and small. Every gift made a difference,鈥 Jim Collins, president of 麻豆原创, said.

Launched in 2013, Inspiring Lives & Leadership鈥檚 goal was $75 million within four years. That goal was increased to $100 million in 2015 when it took just two years to reach that amount.

The financial support has:

  • Provided financial aid for students through more than 120 new endowed scholarships and 55 new awards
  • Strengthened and expanded the College鈥檚 curriculum, including three graduate programs and the Center for Business Analytics
  • Enriched student experience in such areas as spiritual life, experiential learning, career development, leadership and service opportunities
  • Renovated and upgraded classrooms, laboratories, Christ the King Chapel and tennis courts

麻豆原创 announced surpassing its $100 million goal Aug. 3. At that time, it had raised nearly $105 million. The campaign officially ended on Aug. 31.
