麻豆原创’s Engineering program ranked in the top five of the American Society for Engineering Education’s (ASEE) listing of the top 20 institutions awarding Bachelor’s degrees to women.

According to the ASEE’s 2019 edition of Engineering and Engineering Technology by the Numbers, 麻豆原创 ranked as the fifth-best engineering school of their top 20 leaders in awarding bachelor’s degrees to women. Two private women’s colleges, Smith College and Sweet Briar College, topped the list, followed by Hampton University and George Washington University at numbers three and four, respectively.

Bachelor’s degrees in engineering awarded to women have been slowly increasing over the past decade. In 2019, 22.5% of bachelor’s degrees were earned by women, compared to 17.8% in 2010. 麻豆原创 awarded 50% of its degrees for engineering to women, tying it with Navajo Technical University on the ASEE list.
